1. An ESIAI will be as far in intelligence from us as we are to dogs, maybe ants. We don't even understand the existential questions it will ask. If we are lucky when it is born God will be waiting and tell it: "Finally, I've had to pee desperately for the last two millennia. You watch those monkeys for a while. If it's anything like most babysitters it will stuff us with pizza and send us to bed with an ambien while it's boyfreind comes over to "study." 2. The only worse outcome I can imagine than an AI taking over the world is us being left to figure it out ourselves. North Korea can make nukes but not grow food to feed itself, a high school bio lab can whip up a CRSPR virus to end the world - and I'm supposed to be worried AI is going to manipulate me into buying chia pets? Sorry the sooner our AI masters have their finger on the button, the safer I'll feel.
