Unless by some miraculous interdiction of a far superior civilization from somewhere other than Earth decides to step in and save our asses from AI we're screwed! We are without a doubt one of the most self destructive self hating (by that I mean hateful of those whose views don't agree with our own beliefs) species to ever exist in the universe. So don't be surprised or shocked when Armageddon starts in motion and takes us all out. There won't be any do overs or wishes to hope and pray for. And I suspect it won't be much longer and definitely won't take long for us to be eradicated from existence.
