The problem here is the same thing that was with nukes, the AI is not the threat the existence of left-wing people is the threat.
The fear everyone has of AI is that it will take control of the apparatus that the left-wing created to control and later exterminate the masses, end in reality we can simply destroy that system and render AI completely harmless.
The solution isn't finding the correct method of control, the solution is removing all methods of control.
