The ai doesn't remember giving any advice because each session is contained on your own account. It's not some central hivemind, but rather individual instances, so it's normal for chatgpt to not recognize the early conversations with a conpletely different person. Unless chatgpt does an online search, and that online search has good results, it can't tell you if it ever happened or not, unless the engineers hardcode it into chatgpt.
