I am 77 Retired now. I have been working with control systems and safety systems as such whole my life. The simple function is a signal, a signal reader and a executor. AI is no different. AI uses the power of computer systems. If there is no signal, the reader is useless and also the executor. AI Reader is made..hugely complex.. Unless the signals behave with..bad intentions, nothing bad will happen. How AI can make its own decision without a signal..is not quite yet...understandable to me. Yes..I agree..a Robot with a gun, walking on a street, suddenly will not start shooting people..unless a signal is triggered. To me, AI is humanly good, unless some misuses its capacity. This is what Elon MUs says..and he is right. Worst is when AI readr programming can be downloaded through sattellites as Elon Must Tesla can be upgraded in real time. AI fex..will be useful for analysing humans blood..for better prediction. It will save lives. AI will need medical datas such as small itching..on neck or elbow..fex..may be lever damage 10 yra ahead of actual desease... (I am just guessing). Yes..AI safety is crucial. There must be govt approving all AI functions, but it is impossible for govt to check what so called AI geniuses are doing behind the locked doors. In finance they can predict how a perticular-share can behave in next month. Soft power will be the power of future. I wish I was not too old...I would have created some AI stuff..
