i agree that ai references are really the worst for accurate details, but these days, since pinterest is full of them, i end up dowloading some anyway... i mean if it looks like it's giving the mood i'm looking for for a piece, i'm like "at this point i just want to stop searching for the real stuff and use wathever" the worst thing tho is when you look back at stuff you downloaded a while ago and realise that some random photos of humans look a bit off... yeah ai is definitely making finding a good reference tougher ToT
