Raw LLM Responses

After wading around in the discourse about AI (on Reddit, mistake 1) just trying to see their way on things, I've come to the conclusion that the ai bro is just, simply, one of the most spiteful, shortsighted, disingenuous, self-absorbed persons one can find. They have a toy that they like, and that's literally as far as they've cared to think on the matter. Whem they were informed that their toy was harming people, people that weren't them, rather than introspect, or even concede the point, theu dug their heels in deeper and pontificated all this drivel about "democratized art" this and "privileged" that, and ALLLLLL the other arguments they've tried to make. We've all seen plenty of them, so no need to rehash all the classics here. But then, get them alome, in a space they think is filled with people like them, all that rah-rah stuff goes away. They talk about how "all they want to do is create art" but when using AI to make their "creations", all it is is spite-fueled, argumentative silly sauce making generic, smoothed over, regurgitated versions of memes (that already exist, can be found and used for free woth a simple google entry, and would use less work just using the image that would look better) arguing against a strawman version of artists as a monolithic whole using inane arguments that no one is using, to then feebly refute within their "own work" with half-assed gotchas that don't even make consistent sense, for the applause of fellow redditors, or create something that exists soley to mock artists, proudly taunting how they've stolen the concept of creativity from them, their "work" not expressing any idea, or joy, or soul, or even because they wanted to, but existing solely as a retaliatory middle finger to art and artists in general. They talk about how proud they are to be an ai artist, and then proudly open commissions ($100!!!!!), then, refuse to disclose that they are using AI to commissioners (even though it's "just a tool, like a paintbrush") and get really cagey or dishonest when found out, then indignant when a refund is asked for or the commissioner expresses disatisfaction with the end result. I could go on. And all of this, because someone pointed out the harm AI does to artistic expression, artists, and frankly, the environment, to them and how their favorite toy is problematic. If they had just enjoyed their little toy by themselves, acknowledged the harm, dialed back their use of it, or even stood by artists whose work got ripped off by the algos, if it had just been used by Johnny Chuckleballs and his Hairy Friends to share shitposty nemes on Discord, I wouldn't have NEARLY the problem I do have with it. But it's the dishonest, disingenuous posturing, the crowing, the mealy-mouthed concern-trolling, the nonsense, that gets my goat. They don't believe ANYTHING they claim when defending AI, and all that shit is bull. They're just behaving like spoiled children, and doing so because they want to, and trying to convince you it's because they have to. And they get really, REALLY, angry when you call them that, but they keep proving those comments correct whenever they get the opportunity. And that ripoff is GARBAGE
