I can't draw for shit. I'll still never stoop so low as to use generative AI and call it art. It's crap based on stolen data. The companies behind these AI's are basically automating piracy. Make a pfp for myself? Sure. If I just want a fast one, but having an actual human make it adds emotional value to the picture.
The funny thing is, I work on a service based on AI algorithms. But instead of stealing other peoples data, we run our stuff on the data our users are feeding the model themselves.
Have to admit that image detection algorithms is a somewhat different beast than generative ai.
