I respectfully disagree. Technology doesn't erase jobs, it simply changes the way the job is done. Yes cars killed the horse and carriage industry but the people who would have given you a horse and carriage ride became taxi drivers or Uber instead. Jobs exist to solve problems, the problems remain but tech solved the problem more efficiently. AI saves time and so the jobs will be done faster. Someone still needs to prompt the AI to spit shit out and guide what is created. Calculators didn't kill Maths, they simply meant being a Mathematician became a more advanced profession and required new skills. A lot of abacus operators lost their jobs, but do we really want no progress?
