Everyone that you named in the beginning, including Stuart Russell, Geoffrey Hinton, Richard Branson, etc ALL have large investment in AI!
NUMBER ONE QUESTION TO ASK anyone you are interviewing in AI = ”do you have any financial ties to any AI company” — If they say “YES” then do not then listen to them — especially to any of their nonsense ideas towards regulatory constraints. Regulations are to stifle competition that’s it.
