In every discussion about this topic on youtube they ALWAYS dance around the most important question or ignore it completely: in our oligarch controlled American Republic, who benefits? Who benefits from creating technology like text LLM, image generation models, vision models, and multimodal AI models that can replace alot of the creative work that were exclusive to the human working masses? The answer to that lies in how Capitalism functions: the profits of the capitalist class is but the unpaid labor of the working masses. That is, the less they pay the working man, and destroying his job extracts 100% surplus value, they greater their already OBSCENE profits. That my friends is the ONE AND ONLY REASON why the oligarchs and their maga corps, the Big capitalists are "frothing at the mouth" pouring mega billions into LLM generative AI etc etc.
