All the people that I've met who used AI for writing were people of some privilige. They could afford better AI tools that were paid. But you can ALWAYS tell. I remember when AI writing tools were just getting popular while I was in uni and some people used them to CHECK FOR SYNONYMS for their BA; don't tell me that doesn't sound dumb. You can google that or use online dictionaries. The line between "make it easier" and "let it do all the work for me" is very thin.
