I guess Music artists have Big labels backing them and a plethora of lawyers. While artists don't have that? Maybe that's the difference? Honestly, I'm shocked that there's no AI with copyrighted music, I feel like with the current state of technology there should be one. The thing is, in order to view something on a computer, u need to download the file, if you downloaded the file, you can do anything you want with that. Now with the AI, a proper AI should have millions of art eaten in order to be good and that makes it reeeeally hard to investigate what exact copyrighted pieces were used. Until we get the tools to actually say what is in the data set from a AI model, or to enact laws to give AI companies a requirement to share the dataset, you can't stop the current situation. I see it like that. Even if we enact laws, not every country will agree, so AI generated art still will come. So yeah, if you want to fight all the AI art, someone needs to start a huge lawsuit like a big Music Label would. In the end, I believe we can have copyrighted free AIs, but it will be a long way, and while we're going there, AI will keep learn just like now. It's just really hard to regulate such things tbh. Oh, and also I would argue that AI learns sorta like we do, and about what Sam said, AI also can have that "unique" strokes here and there to make its own piece, BUT it also can make an exact version of someone's art. If you want for AI to make own "unique" pieces, It can actually do that. You just need to take a base 90% from one artist and other 10% take from 10 artists and make an art and It will look original. Maybe current AI can't do that well enough but in future it certainly will. And I guarantee you, noone could tell that that art was made by AI.
