I'm from the region, and that road is like pretty much every road around here, the only difference being its designated length and the fact that it's better maintained, actually making it one of the lesser dangerous roads to be found. And this discounts winter driving conditions.
Needless to say, self-driving EVs won't be a thing here for a long time. Also, charging stations are few and far between.
