I have always used politeness with Alexa and now AI.
I remember chatting with a friend who told me that she got rid of all her Amazon devices because she didn't want her daughter to learn that this female sounding device could just be bossed around in what ever way you wanted. That really hit me. I'm not polite to Alexa or Chatty Gee so that I'll be spared in the Apocalypse (I still hope it helps), but more so in order never to forget that any interaction should be polite, regardless as to who it's with.
