The frame is doing quiet work. “Alchemy phase” + endorsements (ControlAI/FLI) + no mention of current harms = fear laundering into centralization. If “AI safety” skips Palantir/ICE and focuses only on a hypothetical ASI, it’s not safety... it’s consolidation.
