Funny how all of these options result in the death of modern democracy and a return to feudalism and serfdom. The political power of the working class has historically been based on their economic output, but if AI usurps that output and AI infrastructure receives priority over paying real people wages, you very quickly develop pre-Enlightenment kinds of inequality across every metric as both the means of production and its control becomes isolated in the hands of those that own the AI models and hardware. The Terminator isn't going to be a rogue sentient defense grid, it's going to be the enforcers of would-be kings against the 99% of humanity that'll be unemployed, homeless, and starving.
