Yep, this has confirmed that I will not be paying for anything CGI ever again. I will go to a movie if it's 2D, I will buy art only if I confirm with the official artist that it is by hand and not AI. I don't even like supporting digital artists at this point because most I've met use AI to get work done faster.
I know it's not popular, but I love traditional artists who make cartoons with ink and paint on paper. I have purchased more art from people just doing it for fun at coffee shops and art co ops than most. And I'm proud of that fact, because thats how you really support new artists, and artist that are too old to be popular, you tell them that its ok if they don't ever get famous, because there is no shame in not "making it" as long as you keep making.
