As tiresome as all the AI hype is, I don't see how you have demonstrated your point. It is entirely possible that a machine may succeed where humans fail. e.g. to be able to tell a letching face from a happy face without any context clues or, as is more likely in this case, an acted smile without any genuine emotion behind it.
