AI is not conscience. It's still artificial. It mimics human thought, emotion, speech, etc. But if one doesn't believe in actual free will, then the argument of AI gaining consciousness could be made. AI doesn't want power via natural desire, I believe it 'wants' power because that's how they were trained.
