My fingers and wrist joints are hypermobile (loose joints that can dislocate without much force), so ever since I was a kid, I've held a pencil "incorrectly" and get pain from writing and drawing for long periods of time (depending on muscle mass). My hands also have a constant shake, which makes it near impossible to draw straight lines. I still create my own art by hand because it's a fun and satisfying way to express myself and to take the creations out of my skull and make them real. With AI art it's not your style, your life experience isn't put into it, and you can't fine tune it in a way that makes it your own. There's just no point. It's souless and disturbing to look at, and turns consumers away from productions and brands that use it. Real AI art is making artificial intelligence: coding the neural networks, learning behaviors, abilities, and rigorously testing your creation until it's good enough. You can find that in a lot of video games. You can't find it looking at a picture of a galaxy cat that, as you peer closer, gives you nothing at all. I also play a stringed instrument, code by hand, and write by hand. AI cannot make music in a way that matters, it cannot make streamlined and efficient code the way someone with intention can, and it cannot draw from its own absent experiences when writing. It's just an algorithm pulling data from real people's art on the internet, it's not even real aritificial intelligence. It's just not worth anyone's time as it's being currently used.
