As an artist myself I definitely have a lot of thoughts on it, and to make it as short as possible, I will say that AI, like so many other things, is a tool, and that tool can be used either to steal and do harm to the art community, or it can be used to help with creating ideas, get specific references or if you need something quick for whatever reason. I doubt that AI could ever completely replace human artists, since art is one of the things that humans have been making for thousands of years. We might face some changes in the near future, but art can't and shouldn't be taken away from people
