My gut says this all going to be regulated in some way or another by goverments all over the world (except china, of course). Having people with a job is a key part of a circular economy, If we're all unemployed because of IA and people can't buy goods and service there's no way that companies can make profit, sure thing you can fire all your mcdonalds staff and replace them with robots but you will have no customers with the money to buy junk food. You can automate all your production chain to do clothes but no one will buy anything because we're all in survival mode. Remember, sure thing they can be profitable with AI for a while, but in the long run if we're cooked they're cooked as well, goverment wont let this happen, riots around the world is not good for bussiness.
