This is good first steps :) Im really curious how are they planning on calculating the damages to every single artist/writer, who got their work stolen for training of their dumb models and paying it back, not only to the "too big to fail" corpos? If the world was actually a lawful place, a worldwide class-action would happen and be won. Unfortunately the damage is already done, so we need to be pushing for accountability... doesnt only apply to the AI. Funny thing is, its gonna be judged by people who probably cant really grasp what this "AI" is, because most people making it cant either. Linguists knew that 20 years ago studying corpus work, but the world prefers words having no meanings, because its easy to make people into consumer zombies that way.
