Not trying to make a scene, not trying to argue for either side, I just have a question for you, and anyone else that matter. I'm a Civil Engineer, I graduated when we created all projects with a pen, pencil and an HP calculator. Ever since the 2010s or so the vast majority of our work is automatically done by the computer. floor blueprints are essentially autogenerated from clicking point A and B, structural projects are self developing and self calculating, we essentially double results, make sure they like up, and if something doesn't line up we then intervene to fix the issue -- but it is recalculated automatically and we check the results again. It is essentially an automated Ai process, it's just not called AI.
Why is that people have no problem with that -- and maybe I'm wrong about this, I've never had anyone tell me it's a problem or heard anyone say it is, if someone has a source of otherwise please tell me --- But.... Why do people have a problem with AI art, but don't have a problem with effectively AI engineering?
