machines are made for one thing and one thing only. to serve humans. we build technology to better our lives. what is the point in building a machine which has no purpose? how many movies, novels and video games do we have that shows that nothing good ever comes out of advanced AI? terminator? Mass Effect? Avengers: Age of Ultron? a toaster has one job and one job only. to burn toast to the perfect degree of crispiness. a car has one job and one job only. to get me from point A to point B. what is the point in making machines to the point where they have feelings and or are conscious? especially to the point they might resent us?
