What happens when it’s time to fuel? Or when there is a wreck and you have to detour around a wreck? Or when you have to back up? I haul gasoline to stores all over the place and has to be unloaded. My job is safe for now and I’m almost 50. However I doubt it is coming. Pilotless planes are a old technology too, but how many people are going to fly on that? The same thing with people driving down a highway with driverless trucks. A deer runs out and the driverless truck slams on its brakes. Where a human driver knows to keep on driving as to not cause a wreck! So many rules of unintended consequences still exist! No computer will ever replace the driver! Sorry, no cigar for you.
