However IMO you are similarly biased as a hardcore Tesla fanboy. Just the other way around.
The truth lies somewhere in the middle. ;)
Don't forget, those accidents are always the humans fault. Nobody in his right mind ever claimed autopilot
works 100% in any condition. It works surprisingly well, but needs to be supervised.
All the happy owners know that. It's an awesome stress reduction while driving.
