the argument that goes something like "for some people learning how to draw is really hard" is so funny to me because their solution for that isn't even "let's make learning to draw easier", it's "they should be able to get AI to draw FOR them" like no shit the learning can be hard but even beyond how that's part of the process and sense of fulfillment, not to mention the theft, what is the point in drawing if it's not YOU doing the drawing, at ALL? what about an AI image makes it YOURS? edit: as someone who was the Class Artist as a kid and got humbled out of pursuing it professionally the moment i got a dA account at 12, i'd rather accept that i'm not motivated enough to seriously make my own art than do this shit bc what is the POINT
