3:50 I don't agree. A painting doesn't talk to you. You look at it and decide if you like it or not. When you say it's subjective, you're admitting that your 'conversation' is just your own thoughts about the painting. You're not talking to the artist; you're thinking about your own feelings. Personally, and I think many others, don't need a painting to make us think deeply. If you do, I find that a bit sad.
