I feel like this whole scummy situation just proves that current AI cannot replace the human ability to imagine and innovate.
All these soylet-drinking redpill-chewing silicone valley wannabe snobs are claiming that the fashion industry and character design and visual media is going to be replaced by AI art generation, but fail to produce an AI that can make anything other than collage art.
All the dynamic "decisions" and eye catching interpretations are stolen directly from human artists. Without them, the AI will have no new material to draw from.
It's an illusion. An exciting toy, perhaps a creative tool, but no replacement for a real artist.
