They ignore that there are generational relationships here. Very young children raised in the near future relying on AI companions and likely robots will have a different attitude about AI and robot sentience than we possibly can imagine now. I think their generalities for this reason are non-helpful and defective. otherwise, I’m enjoying the conversation.
