If you want to see the real limitations of AI, try and make a comic with it. Make several. Watch how similar everything is, how stiff and lifeless it is, how devoid of proper expression, fluidity of motion, how much it struggles with interaction/multiple characters, and so on. That being said, I've seen artists use it AFTER having the talent to build on what AI does and fill gaps and ngl their work is often better than when they don't use it; but only if they have REAL DEVELOPED SKILL first-- and tbh most won't because they hate it, and the ones that don't get their work blacklisted by like 75% of the community. It's a complicated slope, I feel we need laws and defenses against AI abuse, but we also need to learn ways to adapt to it. The problem is all that lags behind technological progress and that is so very very dangerous; the AI internet erosion is proof of that.
