Think about it for a minute, if you make cars, or anything linear and complex, the old single use robot arms are way more efficient than whatever you may want AI to do.
AI may help those who write the scripts, but even then... You still need to have the development team looking after the code and QA do their thing anyway (we learned hard where I work, thankfully humans caught up before shipping).
