Not all "AI art" defenders are outright fascists, but man... There's definitely a Venn diagram where there's crossover. The amount of these people that just dismiss what modern art is and then try to dictate that their weird facsimile of human intention through AI image generation is anything but cheap aesthetic... It's so freaking lame. These people are embarrassing. Also look at the current White House and how much they use AI image generation for propaganda. That's all. It really is at the end of the day. It's meaningless aesthetics. The only image generation that's been interesting whatsoever is when people use it to critique these idiots and even then it's the story of the piece rather than the piece itself that's interesting
