He loves saying 'law enforcement'. So now governments are officially spying on citizens, under the bleak premise that all citizens are potential criminals. I can imagine all kinds of government abuse of this technology, for example spying on dissidents, whistle-blowers and journalists who criticize the government. We are losing democracy at an astonishing pace. This is already happening in some countries like UAE where they connect public cameras to such facial recognition technology, which is much worse than Orwell predicted in 1984. I believe a whole new industry of day-wearing masks will stem out of this. Every action has an adequate reaction. There is a new postulate, every technological advancement that can be used against citizens will be used against citizens
