From a computer programmer perspective. A.I cant take over humanity in current state. The only way...and i mean only way A.I can ever take over is by giving it emotional responses. Its a command tool at the moment even in automation but the second it can "feel" then problems gonna occur. Currently that is the main thing developers are tryin to crack the emotional reactions and responses. Its really tough to get an elaborated emotional response that isnt a gimmick but one that actually is human-like.
