Am I missing something or would it not require businesses as a whole to willingly adopt any ai technology in order for it to be of worth and if employees decided to not work with ai the benefits could not be realized or the business as a whole would fail. Therefore it’s like having a great tool but if it’s not widely accepted because its adoption is recognized as a poison pill for the masses, it would not work as expected. If you force employees to use it or lose a job as ai embeds in business, the employees would see a zero sum game and not engage. A company can’t fire all its employees at once unless there is a guarantee of success. With ai it requires ongoing usage to learn and perfect itself so the workers have a say in how it needs to be developed and leveraged with full transparency or the economic benefits will take longer to arise and will give more opportunity for the population to become clearer on the negative impacts and become more aggressive against establishing a framework in businesses to eliminate their jobs.
