well giving a robot a machine gun is indeed the beginning of the end because it will give rise to Terminator 1 and 2, which were really good, critically acclaimed movies that people love and cherish, but then it will turn into Terminator 3, and 4, and etc. which are horrendous movies that Hollywood keeps making just to grab a lot of money. They will never stop making those damn Terminator sequels and it will destroy humanity in the process! Is that what you meant by "giving robots a machine gun is the beginning of the end"?
