Who allowed essentially industrial plants to be zoned right next to residential?
Whether the data center keeps its noise below established noise values is irrelevant. Industrial facilities should not be built next to residential. If the industrial plant was there first, that is one thing, but to be built next to residential that has been that way for decades is a completely different and relevant issue.
Another concern would be what happens when this AI Tech Bubble bursts? There will be an oversupply of power, so supply and demand means it should be cheaper power, but something tells me the rate payers will be stuck footing some big bills.
