They keep talking about how artists are "mocking and being tyrannical" to people who can't draw- when I rarely ever see that happen. A lot of artists would genuinely want to help new artists practice or learn- and they would be overjoyed to see other people improved. Art is about having enough passion and joy in the experience that you're willing to practice and work hard to hone and make the experience better. As a kid I was horrible with any creative stuff with drawing. But i was taught by SO MANY other artists that I met who helped me practice, gave me advice, and cheered for me when I improved. Theres no "talent" or "blueblood". The problem we have with AI art is people don't want to put in effort- there's no feelings, personal touch or charm.
