I agree with almost EVERYTHING in this video. I wanted to add that art was used as another form of communication which is why it's part of Arts & Humanities. It's such a huge part of the human condition that we will eventually lose overtime if we're ever "domesticated" out of it (if they force us to lol). I only don't agree with using ChatGPT. I don't use ChatGPT for anything. I am not entirely for abolishing it of course but I try not to rely on it like I already feel obligated to social media itself to share my art lol. The part that really matters though is 19:10. It's not just art that's being screwed over. There's already been deepfakes of people and CSEM being mass produced at an accelerated rate. There's also been cases of people's private medical documents being used to train AI. Propaganda and misinformation is also being created which have already caused confusion but this will lead to division and more wars. Anywhere in the web, someone is being exploited without their knowledge. It is already known that our data is being trafficked by these corporations so this isn't surprising but it is definitely showing what people value the most. It seems a lot of AI users want faster monetary gain and constantly being above the competition. This is the first big step to us questioning ourselves, whether thats our humanity or general identity in an existential sense and it would either end in mass casualties like the Mice Utopia experiment or Wall-E. I don't dream of either of these futures lol. I think I'll be fine like you since we're both creatives but people like my boyfriend, I am definitely worried for those who don't have a passion in anything beyond money....I do think by the time we're old, this dystopian shit is definitely going to hit the fan real quick.
