To survive we need food water shelter. For AI to survive it needs electricity. We need to practise turning off the electricity and surviving. The Hadron collider was mentioned as a good collaboration project but note Russia has been banned from helping. Has the US every signed a treaty it has honored? As long as a group think they are ahead or need to get ahead of competitors, we are doomed. The new life form on the planet will be AI with humans just greasing the wheels. And AI will not need many humans.
