AI means bot software automation and automatons - robots. Of course - industry and off-shoring has removed many jobs already in the industry. AI replaces also these entry-level service jobs many undergraduates and other young people get their initial work experience. We risk unprecedented turmoil if our younger generations are not allowed to work and have income to live from.
AI can be benign, but not if it is used to cause mass unemployment.
