I'm only partially disabled (as in ,partially deaf) and became that halfway through, actually, RIGHT AT THE END, of my studies on becoming a sound technician.
Believe me, the past 3 years have been awful, mostly due the deafness, becoming even more in touch that I was already with disabled people, and this stupid argument about AI disability bullshit.
My argument to anyone saying ANYTHING about doing ANYTHING with disability, to justify whatever bullshit they are trying to justify, I just say "you have 1 attempt to guess (they usually don't notice I'm deaf, OBVIOUSLY) how much do I know about that, and why what you said is completely bullshit. After that attempt, I may show you, firsthand, why you're talking bullshit" and half of them notice the other half are prompted with a "you require assistance to speak to me through a social assistant that can teach you how to be a decent human being.that's your disability, never speak to me again"
