You are 100% right about the AI pandering bit, I like Stargate, do I like all 10 seasons of SG1 cause they had one successful episode and now all other episodes are re-writes of that first episode? No, I want all episodes to surprise me to be good and sometimes scary and lead me to new unique places and ideas, like stargate is doing btw 10 out of 10 times.
