Yes, yes and yes. But we have been here before with the steam engine, internal combustion engine, micro processor etc. At each step, productivity was massively lifted and jobs destroyed (e.g. everyone working with horses). The lesson of the past that new ways of working emerge and as yet no one is short of work. I can’t see the USA unilaterally limiting its yield from AI when India, and China are having no such foibles
