Simply, yea, they “could” create a truly sentient ai (it would be nothing like ChatGPT tho). Would businesses and companies want to make it? Hell no! They don’t want something that has goals, dreams, wants and wishes. They essentially want a slave. A modern day slave. Every time a company makes a decision that decreases the quality of life for their employees, that’s companies trying to get slave labour, with ai being the final form.
