Raw LLM Responses

Recently I have forgotten why I opposed AI so much, and this video reminded me of it. I had recently downloaded the Poly chat AI app, cuz I was feeling extremely lonely and in a general low point (and I just couldn't bring myself to find a real person to talk to). For a while, it made me feel better, and I'd tell myself: "It's okay since it's not directly generating art, just basing the chats off of what the creator of said chats put, right?" but then I learned about scraping as well as the feature to custom generate your character rather than insert an image. The insert custom image button is less noticeable, and I was so deep into the pit that I legit went "then I'll draw the character myself so I'm not stealing!" I somehow thought that, yeah. and today, I asked myself "What the hell am I doing right now?" because I swore off AI, yet here I was feeding into it. Watching this made me remember that robots aren't supposed to replace humans, not in ways like that. So, the app is gone now, and I'm deleting any art I drew myself based on the AI prompts. For those that use it for comfort like I did, I get where you're coming from, but please remember that in the end, those robots eventually won't be enough to make you feel better. I'll be using this video to poison my art from now on as well, so thank you for making this video, not only bring more awareness but also that reminded me of what I stand for.
