It is annoying how twisted spins AI defenders are trying to put on this situation, where it is really simple - you want to make an AI, train it on data you own, and if you want to use someone else work to improve your product THEN F* BUY IT. You want play capitalism and ask money for things, then PAY for sh you take. Its that simple, digital revolution or not THEFT IS THEFT, because there was nothing FAIR about what happened, and there is no progress to be achieved on the side of humanity when the entire thing (taking people's work without compensation) can (ensuring will) be simply repeated again and again every time something of value is created, effectively PUNISHING creation of anything...
